Acro Training
SIV or Simulated incident in Flight is the the most beneficial Training an existing Pilot can Take, regardless of experience. Whether it's to learning basic collapse recovery for the first time, discovering tendencies of a new wing, or practicing Acro, the SIV environment is the Safest and most Beneficial route.
SIV is often thought of as Acro Training, but that is not the purpose or the design of the class. It's designed to educate pilots of how to recover from Collapse, Deflations, and Stalls. It's Designed to get pilots comfortable with their wings, what to expect, and how to recover it.
Every Pilot is catered to Individually. Some are here as their first time in a free flight harness, other are instructors looking to sharpen their skills. Each run is discussed, determined, and agreed upon by the Instructor and Pilot before hand. Free runs, or practice runs are encouraged so the pilot can practice what was learned on his own.
The Classes are held bi weekly. Pilots can also schedule courses during the week days with a three pilot minimum, if the weather is good then we run the class. This is done to work around Pilots schedules and the weather.
Max 4 individual students per Class, or a group can be larger. 5 tows per Student, Usually 3 instructional, and 2 to practice on your own.
WE Tow Big. Fastest tow boat in the country, Probably the World. 57MPH. 7500ft of line. We can out run the wind, and end the tow back where we launched, putting the pilot in the Safety zone with no wasted time or loss of Altitude.
